Judy Grahn: Lifetime Achievement Grand Marshal for 2014 San Francisco LGBT Pride

June 6, 2014 • Judy Grahn, internationally renowned poet, writer, activist, and cultural theorist, has been selected as the Lifetime Achievement Grand Marshal for the 2014 San Francisco Pride Parade! Since the early 1960s, Grahn has been an activist for lesbian, feminist, and women’s spirituality movements. Her work has won many awards, including her most recent book, A Simple Revolution, winner of the 2013 American Book Award. Judy will be honored at The San Francisco Pride Parade on Sunday June 29th, a festive occasion that you don’t want to miss. Congratulations, Judy!

QWOCMAP Film Festival June 13-15

May 28, 2014 • Celebrate a decade of love at the 10th annual Queer Women of Color Film Festival. From June 13th-June 15th, QWOCMAP will show 32 films depicting the lives of queer women of color. The event is free, open to the public, and will take place at the Brava Theater in San Francisco. Aunt Lute is a proud co-presenter of this year’s festival.
