December 13, 2013 • Nancy Agabian, author of Me As Her Again, is hosting writing workshops in New York during the winter and spring of 2014. Agabian’s workshops are tailored for beginning creative writers, writers looking to return to their art, and for writers who desire to explore the intersections of race, gender, sexuality, and class.
December 6, 2013 • Jo Scott-Coe, author of Teacher at Point Blank, is a Writer in Residence at Poets & Writers for the month of December. In Scott-Coe’s first piece, “Jo Scott-Coe on Making Room for Voices”, Scott-Coe reflects on the end of Memoir Journal and the creation of workshop spaces for writers who otherwise may not have access to these communities.
