A Simple Revolution wins the 2013 American Book Award!

Congratulations to Judy Grahn, who has been selected as a recipient of the 2013 American Book Award for her memoir, A Simple Revolution: The Making of An Activist Poet. This is the second award granted to Grahn, who also picked up an IPPY earlier this year.

The American Book Awards was founded by The Before Columbus Foundation in 1980 to recognize culturally and ethnically diverse literature that is not acknowledged by other major awards. Each year, the American Book Awards honors work that further expands the idea of what American literature is.
