Join us on October 13, 2011 from 5:30pm-8:30pm!
A Simple Revolution is pleased to announce the panelists for next month’s special community event, presented by Aunt Lute Books in co-sponsorship with Openhouse and the Queer Cultural Center. Bay Area authors Joan Annsfire, Patricia Jackson, Carole J. Morton, and Chana Wilson will join Judy Grahn onstage for a free evening program you won’t want to miss. Their stories offer personal perspectives on lesbian community and activism in the Bay Area during the 1960s and 1970s. Their readings will be followed by a question and answer session with everyone in the audience.
We hope you’ll bring your voice to the conversation on Thursday, October 13 at Francis of Assisi (145 Guerrero, SF; click here for directions), a wheelchair-accessible venue. Come at 5:30pm to enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres as you connect with old friends and make new ones. If you wish, you may RSVP by phone (415-826-1300), email, or on facebook. Don’t hesitate to call or email us if you have any questions.
Please help us spread the word about this community event! Check out the event flyer on A Simple Revolution’s Events page. You can also download your own copy as a PDF. We hope to see you on the evening of October 13!
