On July 10th, lesbian author, activist, and social theorist Judy Grahn will hold a reading and discussion about her recently-launched project with Aunt Lute Books, A Simple Revolution, at Francis of Assisi, 145 Guerrero Street, San Francisco from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. The events is free to the public and held in collaboration with Openhouse, a nonprofit that supports LGBT seniors through housing, services, and community programs.
As the featured guest at Openhouse’s monthly Women’s 2nd Sunday Gathering, Judy will share about her inspiration for A Simple Revolution. There will be an open mic session for anyone who wants to share their stories and reflections about the project. We hope you’ll join us as we honor the history and legacy of the Bay Area lesbian movement of the 1960s and 1970s.
